Military Academy Halmstad

The Military Academy Halmstad (MHS H) has and is receiving new exciting tasks, which increases our need to both long-term and temporarily strengthen our staffing. Therefore, there is now an opportunity for you who want to work with education, leadership, or staff service to regain or increase your engagement in the Armed Forces. We are looking for those who have been part of the Armed Forces but have chosen to leave the organization. We are also looking for those who have a position as a reserve officer and want to serve for a period to strengthen our team. The assignments consist of both service for shorter periods, but we also have a need to staff permanent positions and view re-employment positively for those with the right skills.

Employment Form

Our needs include different types of assignments, and we can therefore offer service based on varying forms of service; for example, in project form full-time for a limited period or part-time work for a longer period. There is also the possibility of re-employment in a permanent position for the right individual.

Main Responsibilities

We are primarily looking for you with experience from one of the profile descriptions below:

Staff Officer/Administrator

As a staff officer or administrator, you conduct investigations that support the organization in making decisions related to development. The investigations mainly concern the education system, personnel supply area, leadership, pedagogy, etc. To thrive in such a role, we see that you have previous experience in conducting investigations and writing reports and in working in project form.

The tasks are varied and therefore require that you can work in a structured and independent manner. To succeed in the role, you have experience with the Armed Forces and its processes, and we see that you are development-oriented, as the tasks are expected to lead to improvements for the organization.

Teacher/Platoon Leader/Mentor

We are also looking for you who have a profile related to our regular assignments as a teacher, platoon leader, or mentor, where we continuously see the need to fill vacancies for a limited period or alternatively for a longer term or permanently. In this type of service, we see that it is an advantage if you are a trained mentor in UGL, UL, and/or LOS.

To thrive in this role, you need to be passionate about the education field, be solution-oriented, and be driven by seeing others develop.

Other Regular Positions

We continuously have a need to fill vacant positions beyond those mentioned above, and our organization may develop with new positions. The Military Academy in Halmstad (MHS H) trains future specialist and reserve officers for the Armed Forces' combat units. Additionally, experienced specialist officers are trained for higher specialist officer positions. The Military Academy Halmstad also leads the Armed Forces' development of leadership and pedagogy and supports the Armed Forces' headquarters with program management of training and management of basic training under total defense obligation.

An employment with us means placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required.
